Connor Wakayama
Consultant
I am a project manager, relationship developer, and policy researcher committed to advancing solutions that ensure all communities have access to economic mobility. Through my experiences in the social sector and local government, I have developed a skillset that helps me support clients as they develop innovative programs to improve opportunity in their communities. Most recently, I worked as an Executive Analyst at the King County Office of Performance, Strategy, and Budget, where I advised department leaders on equity-focused technology investments and provided strategic guidance to support the development of the county’s Jobs & Housing Program. I began my social sector career at Year Up, a national workforce development nonprofit organization, where I launched multi-stakeholder partnerships to help underemployed young people start high-growth, living-wage careers.
I hold a master’s degree from the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Middlebury College.
